A veteran B2B journalist, Joe entered the healthcare arena in 2019 when he joined AORN as senior editor of Outpatient Surgery Magazine, a position he held until the publication went dark in 2025. Prior to his coverage of the perioperative field, Joe covered the consumer electronics industry as senior editor and later editor-in-chief of the NAPCO Media publications Dealerscope, E-Gear and CustomRetailer, ultimately serving as content director of NAPCO’s Consumer Technology Publishing Group. He began his career covering the enterprise information technology industry for publications such as LAN Times, MicroTimes, Midrange Systems and INTERNETWORK. Born and raised in Philadelphia, Joe lives with his partner Betsy and their cat Metro in South Philly.
